  2. Can we take this time not to just appreciate Leonard Cohan, but the rest of the band and that bloody legend of a pianist. Like look at the power of music in that man. He's probably pushing 70 and he plays with such passion that it makes him seem younger.

  3. Я не знаю как янки, но это лучшее исполнение. КРАСАВЧИК

  4. a super-overrated Jewish junk and quack who owes all this popularity to the only fact that he is Jewish! And the Jews are holding the so-called show business, they are pushing such idiots to the dull audience, the same story as the "great" Picasso and his "great" scribbles, again a Jew … fans and admirers of such "music" and such "talent" musical rumor, no musical feeling, that's why they like such growl and bla-bla like that lol!

  5. I am a Pakistani Muslim and I come here very often to listen to this song during my class hours. it's makes me feel very peaceful. the story of Prophet david pbuh and Samson's tragic end is very much close to my heart.
My teacher is an Israeli Jewish man and he has been super kind to me all this time although he said he will be very strict at the beginning of the year but so far he has only been gentle and allowed us to learn the tools needed to be in visual effects industry I know it's a long comment but I just want to share it with rest of the world that I would literally take a bullet for my teacher and would love to be of any service to him and intend to make him proud with everything that I do in life and everyone who taught me at the academy.
I just want all the Jews around the world to know that there are so many Muslim who want to co exist with you and don't want any sort of conflict ever.
My experience at this academy has changed my opinions altogether and I am grateful.

Shalom Aleichem to my brothers in Abrahamic faith! 🙂
May Allah be merciful to us all and grant us the ability to take care of one another regardless of our religion or language or skin colour! 🙂

  6. Absolutely beautiful song! I read all the words in the song and was amazed that someone could write such a beautiful song. Beautiful lyrics. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  7. What an amazing talent! Like I said before…..those lyrics are AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL AND SHOULD ONLY BE SUNG BY THIS MAN! THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH SOME ARTISTS….THEY SHOULF KNOW BETTER TO NOT TOUCH S CLASSIC! BUT THEY "THINK" THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE OR CAN CONTRIBUTE TO. NO! LEAVE IT ALONE! RIP LC💐

  8. 1000's of covers, but no one could perform this like Leonard, even at the sprightly age of 73. RIP oh great one.

  9. 「神(創造主)はイエス・キリストを賜わったほどに、貴方を愛して下さった。それはイエスを信じる者がひとりも滅びないで、永遠の命を得るためである。」ヨハネ3-16

  10. Leonard.
The music that you left to us is the most perfect, Nobel, amazing and immortal that a human can left after him in this world.
I don't remember a time that I've heard the song and didn't wanted to cry.
    Thanks Leonard.
    Rest in peace.

  11. I am a music junkie..i been playing guitar for 20 years, been to well over 100 concerts-music is my life.
    It's the Universal language
    It's how nature speaks
    Birds singing
    Wolves howling
    Waves sloshing onto the shore
    Everything is vibration
I would like to think of myself
As a well rounded musical connesour
    With excellent taste in music
And this, my friends, is my favorite song.
A deep and somber spiritual meditation
    On love and loss
And the insanity of it all
"I remember when i moved in you
    And the holy dove
    She was moving to
    And every breath we drew
    Was HALLELUJAH..
    And even tho
    It all went wrong
I'll stand before the God of song
    With nothing on my tongue
    But hallelujah"

    Gets me everytime

    Mr. Cohen
You were the finest vintage wine
    Of rock n roll
    You just got better
    As you aged

  12. "HALLELUJAH"
means "People, praise Jehovah", a phrase from the Hebrew language in the Bible & encourages listeners to worship Jehovah.

  13. One day I dedicated this song at night, candles and praying for the animals, nature and humans are dying for human insane actions. God! With this song you touch the heaven!

  14. Well gosh darn wasn't that great. I have watched this video many times, but this time I paid attention to the expressions and motions of all the people in the video and how their voices and movements harmonize. My appreciation of this song and the video itself went from wonderful to, well – more wonderful.

  15. I heard this was played in the aftermath of the shootings in Dayton this week. Sobbed all the way through it.

  16. Want to know what gets to me? That organ, the back-up singers…..and THAT voice. Makes me cry everytime. ♥️

  17. I was privileged to have worked at two of his concerts. I wasnt a fan before but I became one after. His concerts were fantastic. I miss seeing him singing actually his songs live on forever….
