Hi, I’m Norbert Haas. I have played in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra for more than 30 years and I’m here today with a Bach TR650. This is a beginner model, a student model. So why do I have it? We usually have a Stradivarius in the orchestra…so the very big instruments, the ‘really great’ instruments But this instrument also has its qualities and really has the soul of Bach. It sounds like a real Bach and therefore it’s really fun to play. It’s a fact that we have sat on the stage with a mixture of such instruments. It works really well for us. And for you too! The instrument is available as the TR650, as it is here, and as the TR650S, which has good silver plating. It has a yellow brass bell and is available in medium large bore. It comes with stainless steel valves (which run well), two water keys, also at the third valve, which makes a lot of sense for students because then it doesn’t always fall out. So it is really well thought through. It also has an adjustable finger ring on the third valve, making it perfect for the smaller hand, as well as the somewhat older student. The trumpet is delivered with a 7C mouthpiece and a lovely case with rucksack straps. What more can I say? For a relatively small amount of money you get the perfect Bach sound. You really can achieve that with this instrument. Besides, it’s really fun to play – also for me!
