do you think you can tell me which one is easier from each section

  3. You are helping me to pass my grade 1 exam! L'homme armé is my favourite piece. Wish me luck! I'm 44 and never done any music exams before!!

  5. i got a violin a few days ago and started with scales (g, d, a, and e minor, plus with g and a i know two octaves) and i learned l'homme armé (of course after learning some basic songs like twinkle twinkle little star and ode to joy 😂), I was wondering if it would be good to learn all the songs in your grade 1 playlist, then move on to your grade 2 playlist, and learn those? +which songs are easier so I can start with them? i have experience with piano, ukulele, and guitar so i can read music a little bit and i have some finger dexterity and those pesky finger calluses already (im self taught in all of my instruments) thank you in advance for the reply, and sorry for the needlessly long comment, lol. (p.s. you are amazing at violin)

  6. Thank you very much for these videos. They have helped me a lot and today I received my certificate for grade 1 and got a distinction!

  8. YOUR MUSIC IS SO TERRIBLE. I HAVE NIGHTMAIRES WITH UR VIOLIN PLAYING. I LITERALLY HAVE HEADACHES WHHEN I LISTEN TO YOU. LIKE A TURD SENT FROM HELL. I HATE ALL YOUR VIDEOS PEACE OUT

  9. I have became fan of you sir, learning a lot from you . thank you for making it transparent so that any one who wish can learn it

  10. This is an old French folk tune. "The Armed Man". Tragic to consider how many generations this piece has existed for and we still require men at arms. The experience of being tired, hungry, wet, frightened and taking cover in a ditch is universal to all soldiers throughout the millennia. Sorry, I don't want to be a downer.

Also: thanks for loading this onto YouTube. It helped my nine-year-old with his violin.
